A new bicycle map for the City of Knoxville is available online and at many locations. This map was developed to assist residents and visitors in finding routes to shop, socialize, and go to work/school by bicycle. The map shows bike lanes and other facilities, as well as signed bike routes. The “comfortable” designation is based on low-to-medium traffic speeds & volumes along with other criteria.
The grant provides bike parking for any business or agency at just 20 percent of the actual cost, which is typically $20 for one rack.
